Meet JoDee Tester

For JoDee Tester, a little bit of New Orleans is never far away. Originally from the Big Easy, JoDee has built a successful career in Arizona while holding onto the food, culture, and spirit that make Louisiana so special.

A registered nurse and owner of IV League AZ, JoDee has dedicated her professional life to helping others feel their best. Her passion for health and wellness inspired her to launch her own business, allowing her to provide personalized care and wellness services to clients throughout the Valley.

JoDee lives in Gilbert with her husband and their two four-legged family members, Liam, a pit bull mix, and George, a shepherd mix. The pair are an important part of the family and keep life entertaining at home.

When she’s not working, JoDee enjoys two of her favorite pastimes: golf and wine. Whether she’s spending time on the course or relaxing with a glass of bold red wine, she appreciates the opportunity to unwind and enjoy life’s simple pleasures.

Her love of Louisiana remains evident in her favorite foods. Seafood is always a top choice, but nothing compares to a home-cooked Cajun meal. Those flavors and traditions continue to keep her connected to her New Orleans roots.

When it comes to entertainment, JoDee’s favorite movie is the Southern classic Steel Magnolias, and one of her favorite songs is “Black” by Pearl Jam. Sports fans will also appreciate her loyalty to the LSU Tigers, a team she proudly supports.

JoDee approaches life with a simple philosophy: “Live like no tomorrow.” It’s a reminder to embrace each day, make meaningful memories, and appreciate the people around you.

She also believes that a good sense of humor goes a long way. One of her favorite jokes is, “What do you call a pencil with two erasers? Pointless.” It’s the kind of lighthearted humor that keeps her smiling and sharing laughs with others.

Through her work, her family, and her commitment to living life to the fullest, JoDee brings compassion, positivity, and a touch of Southern hospitality to everyone she meets.

The idea of a third space is a gathering spot that isn’t work or home. Think a place like the cozy Central Perk coffee shop in "Friends" or the bar where everybody knows your name in "Cheers." Maricopa, what’s your favorite third space?
