Maricopa Unified School District Superintendent Tracey Lopeman has been appointed to the board of directors for Education Forward Arizona, a statewide education advocacy organization.
Lopeman is entering her ninth year leading MUSD, where the district has expanded career and technical education, opened Desert Sunrise High School and launched Arizona’s first K-8 work-based learning model at Alma Farrell Innovation Academy.
“Her extensive experience leading school systems, building strong community partnerships and expanding opportunities for students aligns closely with our mission,” Education Forward Arizona President and CEO Rich Nickel said in a statement.
Lopeman, a longtime Arizona educator, previously served in the Alhambra Elementary School District as a teacher, principal and administrator before joining MUSD.

Ah yes, have the poster child of walking around showing face pretending to care join a board for this. Great choice, Arizona…
Of course she did as the feds will soon be out of the education business, thank you God.Protecting her job and paycheck.Hopefully she will do the work necessary to cleanup the corrupt reachers unions. But no doubt she’s there to carry on their pyramid of waste and fraud.
