The City of Maricopa has named Tara Raymore its new human resources director, tapping a Maricopa resident with more than two decades of government leadership experience to oversee the city’s HR operations.
Raymore will lead recruitment, employee development, organizational culture and long-term workforce planning, according to the city.
“I am honored and excited to serve the community that I call home,” Raymore said. “With more than 20 years of government leadership experience, an MBA in human resources management and dual HR certifications, I have the expertise to effectively support city operations. I’m committed to fostering a high-performing team while delivering exceptional service and looking forward to a bright future with the City of Maricopa.”
City Manager Benjamin Bitter said Raymore’s leadership will support internal operations as the city continues to grow.
“Strong leadership in human resources is essential to delivering excellent service to our residents,” Bitter said. “We are excited to welcome someone with her experience, professionalism and commitment to this community.”
