A big change is crust around the corner for one Maricopa restaurant.
Pizza Hut is swapping the dine-in format for a smaller location a few doors down at 21101 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite E102.
The pizza restaurant received a permit for tenant improvements at the new location in June, according to public records.
Signs at the entrance to the previous location in suite E106 seen this week indicated the pizzeria giant will move four doors down, but did not provide an opening date. A contractor on-site said the owners want to open next week, but also did not say when the new location will open.
Currently, Pizza Hut’s website shows the location as closed and phone calls are redirected to other stores.
The Wichita, Kan.-based pizzeria known for its innovative menu items, like stuffed crust pizzas and the calzone-style p’zone, opened its Maricopa dine-in restaurant in 2006. The following year, it began offering delivery services.
