Maricopa’s newest golf option won’t require sunscreen, a tee time or even daylight.

Back Nine Golf is bringing a 24/7 indoor golf simulator to 41724 W. Smith-Enke Road, with the simulators expected to be installed by the end of October.

Co-owner Parker Hunsaker, who owns the franchise with his father, Danny, said the facility is expected to soft launch before a grand opening in mid-November.

Golfers will be able to pay by the hour or join as members, making the facility an option for everyone from beginners to serious players looking to sharpen their game. And with 24/7 access, there’s no need to wait for the sun to come up.

“If you have a membership, and you work the graveyard shifts or work late at night, it’s going to be open for you,” Hunsaker said.

He said part of the appeal of opening in Maricopa is simple: He wants to keep local golfers closer to home.

“I want to stop leaving town to do this kind of thing,” he said.

The facility also could give Maricopa’s golf community another place to practice between rounds at local courses.

Hunsaker said he hopes Back Nine Golf can work alongside Southern Dunes Golf Course and The Duke at Rancho El Dorado as the city grows.

“We are hoping that as the town continues to grow, so does the golf,” he said.
