Upcoming roadwork on State Route 347 this weekend will cause closure of a section of the road and an interstate ramp.

As previously reported, Arizona Department of Transportation will conduct pavement maintenance on SR 347 west of I-10 on Saturday. The work is now expected to last from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Instead of merely restricting lanes, the road will be closed between I-10 and Maricopa Road. The eastbound I-10 on-ramp at SR 347/Queen Creek Road will be also be closed.

Eastbound and westbound I-10 off-ramps at SR 347 will be limited to eastbound turns onto Queen Creek Road.

ADOT encourages drivers to plan now to use alternate routes. Traffic will be able to use Maricopa Road and Wild Horse Pass Boulevard. Drivers may also use Riggs Road.
