A+ Charter School students Thursday shared projects they worked on all year with the community.
During the “Archer’s Showcase” event, the hallways and classrooms were filled with student projects including pitches for universities, science fair projects and adventures through history.
Outside, A+ Student Council worked on their campus beautification project as the school band and choir filled the air with music.
“It’s really hard to catch their attention, but once you do, they can accomplish amazing things,” Dean of Academic Success Nate Wong said. “It turned out awesome.”
For example, high school students Brayden Elamon, Lucas Fitzgerald and Camden Kellum donned lab coats and presented their project — they created a biodiesel out of alcohol and oil.
Said Principal Rachele Reese: “The excitement and effort that [staff] put in this caused a complete domino effect that inevitably impacted our students.”
