Drivers traveling between Maricopa and the Phoenix area should plan for overnight lane restrictions on State Route 347 and Interstate 10 starting tonight, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Eastbound I-10 near the Gila River Bridge, between mileposts 173 and 174, will be reduced to one lane from 9 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, for damaged barrier repairs.
On SR 347, southbound traffic will be narrowed to one lane from Casa Blanca Road to Maricopa nightly from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, Oct. 13-15, for paving.
Northbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane from Maricopa to Casa Blanca Road from 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, to 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 16, also for paving.
Drivers should slow down, follow posted speed limits, merge safely and allow extra travel time through work zones. Get traffic updates on InMaricopa.com or AZ511.
