To the editor,

Public service is about more than holding a title. It is about showing up, listening and making decisions that strengthen families and communities. That is why I am proud to support Patricia Glover for Justice of the Peace.

Patricia has dedicated her career to helping people navigate some of the most difficult moments of their lives. She understands that the justice system should be accessible, fair and focused on serving the public with dignity and respect. Her commitment to ensuring that every person who enters the courtroom is treated fairly has earned the trust of countless residents throughout our community.

What sets Patricia apart is her heart for service. Whether through her work supporting families, advocating for access to legal resources or engaging with community organizations, she has consistently demonstrated a genuine desire to help others. She understands that justice is not just about applying the law — it is about ensuring people feel heard and respected throughout the process.

I have had the opportunity to see Patricia’s leadership firsthand. She approaches challenges thoughtfully, listens carefully to different perspectives, and remains focused on finding solutions. She brings professionalism, integrity, and compassion to everything she does.

Our community deserves a judge who is knowledgeable, experienced, and committed to serving the public with fairness and respect. Patricia Glover embodies those qualities. Her dedication to justice, her service to our community, and her proven leadership make her the right choice for Justice of the Peace.

I am honored to support Patricia Glover and respectfully encourage voters to join me in re-electing her as our Justice of the Peace.

  1. So you’re saying she’s a Democrat? The caption under the photo puts her at a City of Maricopa Republican Club so I’m confused.

  2. Why do you think she is a democrat? I’m just curious. Although your party designation does not play a factor as Judge for the Justice Courts. The Judge has to be nonpartial in all the cases she hears. You can find everything you want to know about her at patriciaglover.com.

  3. A politician’s endorsement of another politician is rarely a gift to the public; it is more often a receipt for a debt already paid or a favor yet to be collected. Behind the applause and handshakes lies an unspoken ledger, where loyalty is traded, influence is bartered, and promises are exchanged far from the eyes of those they claim to serve. The people hear the endorsement, but the agreement was made long before the speech.

    1. No favors here. I just instruct all voters to do their due diligence when researching both candidates for Justice of the Peace.

  4. Well if Liermann says she has her support,we all must vote for her hahahaha. The endorsements by those in office are like listening to hollywoods yay or nay to a politician. It doesn’t mean squat. They’re the only ones that try to convince you to vote for them, like they are smarter than you.Big I little you attitudes.

    1. As a supporter of Judge Glover, I would not want you to vote for her because of an endorsement. I would want you to vote for her after you do your due diligence between both candidates for Justice of the Peace. I can agree that endorsements can be a double edge sword. Some people will vote because a person they like and trust endorsed a person. Some people with automatically not vote for the person because of an endorsement. My goal is hopefully if you do not care for endorsement, then look for the candidate that has the required education, skills and qualifications to do the job.

      1. The average person does not vote based on qualifications anymore thanks to *you know who*, they vote along party lines and personality bias. I see the words “conservative Republican” on her website and it’s an automatic no even as an Independent voter. Skills or not, the political landscape is drastically altered/damaged/tainted for the foreseeable future, and when we’re being governed by people with straight up NO skills, government as a whole is a joke. I should also mention the irony of someone who “isn’t afraid of career politicians” running for RE-ELECTION is really something.

Besides, you’re married to her, so obviously you’re going to support her.

        1. I agree, but it doesn’t have to be that way. I’d like to believe that voters still take the time to research candidates. If you are an independent, you do have the opportunity to choose your next Judge and Constable this July, if you request the Republican primary ballot. Whoever wins these primaries will be unopposed come November. And yes, I am married to her so I do support her, but we are not career politicians, just local citizens who care about our community and willing to serve the people of Maricopa the best way we can.
