A man was arrested after heavily armed city and county cops searched a Heritage District home this morning.
“Pinal County Regional SWAT team assisted MPD detectives in serving a search warrant on a residence in the 20000 block of Taft [Avenue],” said MPD spokesperson Monica Williams.
Maricopa police detectives and a Pinal County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Unit vehicle remained on the scene at 9:30 a.m. A box of latex gloves sat on a vehicle outside.
One man was taken into custody before SWAT cleared the scene, Williams said.
Williams did not identify the man arrested, what charges he faces or if there were any injuries, citing it is “an active investigation.”
