UPDATE March 3, 2026 Taitum Shimp has returned home and is safe.
ORIGINAL STORY March 2, 2026 Maricopa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating 15-year-old Taitum Shimp, who was last seen Sunday night in the Homestead neighborhood.
According to police, Shimp was last seen just before 10 p.m. March 1 at her home on the 19000 block of Mac Neil Court. Investigators said she left the residence on her own accord.
Shimp was wearing a black crop top and black shorts. She has pink hair and blue eyes and is described as 5-foot-2 and 115 pounds.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact MPD’s non-emergency line at 520-568-3673.
