Carefree Covered RV Storage’s Maricopa facility earned top ranks from the Better Business Bureau and BusinessRate, according to a press release.

The storage facility, 45760 W. Estrella Parkway, earned an A+ rating from BBB based on factors like complaint history and marketplace practices, and was ranked No. 1 in Maricopa on BusinessRate. The platform ranks businesses against local competitors through reputation and customer satisfaction.

“This community recognition is especially meaningful because it comes from the people and community we serve,” said Barry Raber, president of Carefree Covered RV Storage.

Carefree is the first covered RV storage facility within a 15-mile radius of the city. Its 11-acre property opened in November 2025, offering 516 covered spaces as well as a multitude of amenities.

The storage facility was built specifically to protect vehicles from the sun, monsoon storms and other elements by providing canopies over every space, a paved lot, a two-bay covered RV wash and an individual charge plug at every space.

Security features include gated entry, 31 high-definition security cameras, and 24/7 surveillance as well as amenities like a dump station, a dog park, complimentary ice and wholesale propane.

“We built this facility to give Maricopa residents an affordable way to protect a valuable asset, and more owners are making the switch every month,” said Barry Raber, president of Carefree Covered RV Storage.

The project was developed in partnership with Baldwin Development Group, Done Deal Iron Works, ABM Development Services, Pender Engineering and Shane Cook of Estrella Gin Business Park.

The idea of a third space is a gathering spot that isn’t work or home. Think a place like the cozy Central Perk coffee shop in "Friends" or the bar where everybody knows your name in "Cheers." Maricopa, what’s your favorite third space?
