A crash involving multiple vehicles delayed southbound traffic on State Route 347 today, causing traffic to back up to Maricopa Road. 

The crash occurred around 2:11 p.m. at the Riggs Road intersection, blocking traffic in the right lane, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation. There is no estimated time for the lane to reopen. 

A spokesperson for the Arizona Department of Public Safety could not confirm what led to the collision or if any injuries occurred.
