Nighttime drivers on John Wayne Parkway and Porter Road, and in the Glennwilde and Tortosa neighborhoods will likely face restrictions before month’s end.
Ongoing nightly restrictions on North John Wayne Parkway between Smith-Enke Road and the southern city limits, originally scheduled to end May 13, will remain in place until Thursday. Tolleson-based Cactus Asphalt is performing micro sealing and restriping work from 7 p.m. through 4 a.m. nightly.
Crews with Casa Grande-based Ellison-Mills Contracting will perform overnight crack sealing on North Porter Road between Bowlin Road and Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, Monday through Friday. Restrictions will impact drivers traveling north and south from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Cactus Asphalt will work on Adams Way in Glennwilde and Costa Del Sol in Tortosa overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, requiring lane restrictions in both directions. City officials did not immediately disclose the exact timeframe when the work will be completed.
