Eighty percent of the Maricopa businesses inspected by Pinal County Public Health Services District in June received “Excellent” marks.

Pizza Hut, Pepe’s Taco Shoppe, Brooklyn Boys Italian Restaurant & Pizza, Central Arizona Community College Maricopa Campus-Cafe, Helen’s Kitchen LLC, Bashas’ No. 109 Bakery, Bashas’ No. 109 and Arby’s all received “Es.”

Satisfactory (“S”) scores were awarded to O’Shays and Native New Yorker.

Excellent means no violations were found.

Satisfactory involves violations corrected during the inspection.

Needs improvement scores are given “where one or more critical items are noted during the inspection and the identified critical items cannot be corrected immediately or prior to the conclusion of the inspection. In these cases, a follow-up inspection is required to verify correction of the previously identified critical items.”
