A little-known Maricopa rapper who was accused in January of stalking and assaulting a girl at her high school has been arrested again, this time for a sex crime.

Maricopa Police Department responded to reports of the sex crime at a Desert Passage home on Portis Drive Saturday, according to a probable cause statement obtained by InMaricopa.

The caller told police that she was moving items into her home when she found Starlex Dorcely, 28, hiding by her backyard gate with his pants down.

When Dorcely was spotted, he “exposed his genitals and swung it around” in front of her, the woman said. That’s when she called her boyfriend over for help.

The boyfriend followed and video recorded Dorcely until he had walked out of the neighborhood. The couple gave police a description of the man, and officers knew exactly where to find him.

MPD officers responded to Dorcely’s house on Peggy Court, about ¼ mile from the crime scene, where they found him wearing the same outfit the woman described. The officers confirmed with a one-on-one identification that he was the same man.

Dorcely admitted to “exposing his genitals to the victim for being upset she did not say hello,” according to the police report, which specified neither Dorcely nor the woman knew each other.

Police noted Dorcely struggles with mental health and has stalked local children in the past. He also violated other court orders since his last arrest just a few weeks ago.

Dorcely was booked into the Pinal County jail on charges of indecent exposure, third degree trespassing and disorderly conduct. He faces over a year and a month in jail.
