The City of Maricopa and Scottsdale-based Steve LeVine Entertainment this afternoon announced the “Beautiful Girls” artist is out and early aughts R&B artist Baby Bash is now lined up to perform Friday night following Twista.
California-based Latin artist Baby Bash is best known for his 2003 R&B hit “Suga Suga,” as well as his 2007 single “Cyclone,” featuring T-Pain.
Residents and festival attendees spent the weekend mulling over whether Kingston would attend the festival anyway, despite being sentenced to house arrest and electronic monitoring last week. City officials and SLE spokespeople didn’t help the speculation, simply stating they were “working on it.”
And not to worry, country fans: Saturday’s headliner LeAnn Rimes is still slated to perform her 1990s hits, like “Blue” and “How Do I Live.”
The event will round out Sunday with performances from local acts, like the soft rock band Yachtzilla and folksy blues rock band The Kruse Brothers.
