A 21-year-old man is charged with reckless driving and criminal damage after destroying a common area with his car Sunday night. 

The driver of a cherry red Ford Mustang crashed at 9:15 p.m. on Cobblestone Farm Road near Chase Bank, said public safety spokeswoman Monica Williams. 

The driver was De Maria Golden, MPD Chief Mark Goodman said. He was cited and released.

A wall and light pole were destroyed in the wreck.
