Get ready, all you doers: The Home Depot will help you get more done starting next week.  

The Atlanta-based home improvement giant confirmed today its Maricopa location will host its grand opening next Thursday, Sept. 26.  

Grand opening festivities at the store, 42410 W. Maricopa-Casa Grande Highway, will include food trucks, prizes, giveaways and more. 

Store Manager Stephanie Brooks said with the store 18 years in the making, employees are excited to start helping customers in Maricopa. 

“We’re thrilled to be joining such an amazing community and look forward to serving our new customer base,” she said. 

Construction on the 136,000-square-foot store began in December and features a 28,000-square-foot outdoor garden center, a tool rental center, specialty showrooms, a battery center and a full-size paint desk. The store plans to hire 150 employees.
