Maricopa drivers should prepare for another week of overnight lane restrictions on State Route 347 as crews continue paving work between Riggs Road and Interstate 10.
The Arizona Department of Transportation said traffic impacts will continue through July 17 as Phase 1 of the SR 347 Improvement Project progresses. Drivers should expect delays and allow extra travel time when traveling through the work zone.
Restrictions began Friday night and include:
Northbound SR 347
- One lane from Riggs Road to Interstate 10 through 4 a.m. Monday
- One lane from Riggs Road to Interstate 10 from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 4 a.m. Thursday.
- One lane from Riggs Road to Interstate 10 from 8 p.m. Thursday to 4 a.m. Friday.
Southbound SR 347
- One lane from Interstate 10 to Riggs Road from 8 p.m. Tuesday to 5 a.m. Wednesday.

ADOT said additional daytime and overnight lane restrictions are expected the weekends of July 18 and July 25 as construction continues. More detailed information will be released as the schedule is finalized.
Drivers should slow down, watch for construction crews and equipment, and allow extra travel time when traveling through the project corridor.
