Pinal County Attorney Brad Miller wants your questions.
Questions about State Route 347, that is.
In a video posted on social media today, Miller asked Maricopa residents and commuters to submit questions and concerns about the beleaguered state highway. He said he’ll take those questions with him during a ride-along with state troopers next week.
The video did not provide a deadline for questions but said residents could leave them in the comments section.
Miller said his office is working with the Arizona Department of Public Safety to “highlight both the dangers of the road and … the new Arizona Arrive Alive program so that you can get from work to home and different places safely.”
The Arizona Arrive Alive program is a five-year safety initiative launched last month to reduce fatal crashes. The program plans to target impaired, aggressive and distracted driving, as well as seatbelt violations.
InMaricopa reported two fatalities on SR 347 this year: 21-year-old Yahir Garcia near Cement Plant Road in January and 74-year-old Jim Schrimpf near Casa Blanca Road in May.

Brad Miller has trouble staying in his lane. He appears to be using the county attorney position as merely a tool for a higher office. He attempted to usurp the powers of the County Supervisors which was struck down in court all the while making as much noise as possible to keep the spotlight on himself. And now he is attempting to grab headlines again with activity completely out of the realm of the administration of justice for Pinal County. He was elected to perform duties as a county attorney so stay off the 347 unless there is a legal matter to pursue.
