The winter wildlife around Pacana Park’s lake is a stunning tribute to the beauty of nature.

Despite the cold, the great egret in flight over the water and in various poses is truly captivating, as is the Canada goose feeding nearby. The cormorants huddled at the edge of the water occasionally jumping in the water for a meal and a great egret in reflection add to the charm.

These images are a reminder that even in winter, life thrives and there always is something wonderful to behold in our small town.
