Exceptional Community Hospital in Maricopa has announced the appointment of Dr. Brad Russell Green as the new medical director.
Dr. Green steps into the role as Dr. Paul Gilbert transitions to oversee Exceptional Healthcare’s newest location in Prescott.
“Dr. Gilbert’s leadership and dedication have been instrumental in establishing a high standard of care at Exceptional Community Hospital in Maricopa, and we look forward to Dr. Green’s leadership to continue the positive momentum,” read a Monday press release.
Dr. Green brings a wealth of experience in emergency medicine and medical leadership, previously serving as assistant medical director at Exceptional Community Hospital and holding past medical director roles at Chandler Regional Medical Center, Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital and Carlsbad Medical Center.
“Dr. Green’s expertise and passion for innovative care make him the ideal choice to lead our team in Maricopa,” said Bruce McVeigh, chief operating officer. “We are excited to continue our mission of providing exceptional, patient-centered care under his direction.”
Dr. Green’s background includes notable achievements in emergency medicine, simulation education and faculty positions at prestigious institutions, including New York University and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
“His extensive experience will be invaluable in furthering Exceptional Community Hospital’s commitment to excellence in patient care,” read the press release.
Dr. Green attended Brigham Young University for his undergraduate studies. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Georgetown University and completed his residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York.
