If SR 347 is part of your weekend plans, you might want to check the construction schedule first.

Both directions of the highway will be reduced to one lane between Casa Blanca Road and Mammoth Way for most of the weekend as crews continue paving and other work.

The weekend slowdown

Northbound and southbound SR 347 will be narrowed to one lane beginning 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2 for paving work.

The restrictions will remain in place around the clock through Monday morning:

  • Northbound: One lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way until 4 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5.
  • Southbound: One lane from Mammoth Way to Casa Blanca Road until 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5.

The restrictions don’t disappear Monday.

Both directions will again be narrowed to one lane nightly Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 5-7, while crews conduct materials testing.

  • Northbound: 8 p.m. to 4 a.m.
  • Southbound: 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Southbound SR 347 will be reduced to one lane again from 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, to 5 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, for paving.

Drivers should slow down, follow the posted speed limit and merge safely through the work zone. ADOT recommends allowing extra travel time and watching for construction workers and equipment.
