In 2004, the City of Maricopa was working with the Arizona Department of Transportation to design and review traffic signals for John Wayne Parkway intersections at Lakeview Drive/Cobblestone Farms Road and State Route 238/Smith-Enke Road. This InMaricopa file photo from that year shows a two-way stop at the Lakeview intersection while the installation of the traffic signals was being completed. Last year, the city revamped the intersection again, adding another left turn lane into Rancho El Dorado, and a free flow right turn lane onto northbound John Wayne Parkway.
