Villages of Rancho El Dorado resident Mark Loen believes the legendary Albert Einstein’s theory of special relativity is wrong and he has the proof to say so.
If scientists agree with Loen’s new theory, he would be changing history.
Einstein’s theory of special relativity is a scientific theory that explains how speed, mass, time and space are interrelated. It’s based on two key ideas: the speed of light and the law of physics
Loen’s theory argues that Earth’s gravity is the actual root of special relativity.
He recently published his technical paper about special relativity, “The Kinetic Relativity Theory – Hiding in Plain Sight.”
His study was published after review by a group of his scientific peers, who concluded his theory was credible and worth the consideration of other scientists.
“It’s important because it tells us how it actually works and that Einstein was incorrect on this matter,” he said. “Knowing this is important for scientists to know how it works,” Loen said.
Loen, a physicist, engineer and patent agent, has been studying the topic of special relativity since October 2019. He read 30 experiments involving Einstein’s theory before coming to his own conclusion.
“I’m hoping that it will lead to more experiments that will help us understand warpages in space and time around a moving particle,” Loen said.
Put in sci-fi layman’s terms, it’s like warp speed.
“The practical application is to understand nature better, if and maybe if we can answer the question is warp drive possible?” he said. “It’s like Star Trek, is anything like that possible? We need to get somewhere somehow.”
