The Arizona Department of Transportation is advising those heading north of Maricopa that this weekend there will be lane restrictions on State Route 587. Traffic will be affected between Hunt Highway and Casa Blanca Road south of Chandler for pavement sealing from Friday night through Sunday evening.

Flag crews will direct traffic through the area. ADOT is advising travelers to use an alternate route or allow extra travel time if using SR 587.

Work will take place from 11:30 Friday night until 5 p.m. Saturday, and again from 11:30 p.m. Saturday through 5 p.m. Sunday.
