The decorations are up, the ghosts are out and now it’s time for Maricopa to choose its favorite.

Voting is officially open for InMaricopa’s Mystery Mansion Mayhem Halloween house-decorating contest, sponsored by State Farm agent Rene Chavez.

Residents can vote once per day throughout October for their favorite decorated homes entered in this year’s contest.

Three awards are up for grabs:

• Sponsor’s Choice: $300 cash and other prizes
• InMaricopa.com’s Choice: $250 cash and other prizes
• People’s Choice: $100 cash and other prizes

The contest is part of InMaricopa’s annual Halloween celebration and not only gives residents a chance to show off their decorating skills, but their neighbors can decide who truly went all-in this spooky season.

Winners will be notified Nov. 2.
