Drivers and construction crews will get a brief break from State Route 347 construction over the Labor Day holiday. No construction work is planned from noon Sept. 4, through the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Crews will work in the median from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 10, with no planned lane restrictions during those hours. Lane restrictions will resume at 8 p.m. Sept. 10.
Tonight’s lane restrictions
- Northbound: One lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, for materials testing.
- Southbound: One lane from Mammoth Way to Casa Blanca Road, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, for materials testing.
- Southbound: One lane from Interstate 10 to Riggs Road, 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Friday, Sept. 4, for geotechnical work.

Sept. 10 lane restrictions
- Northbound: One lane from Casa Blanca Road to Mammoth Way, 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, for paving.
Drivers should use caution, follow posted speed limits and watch for construction crews and equipment in work zones.
