A crash that injured at least two people reduced northbound traffic on John Wayne Parkway to one lane this afternoon.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Bowlin Road around 4:24 p.m. A gray Nissan sedan was seen with front end damage at the scene and debris was scattered on the road.

A city spokesperson told InMaricopa the crash was caused by “failure to yield at the intersection.” Two people were being treated by Maricopa Fire/Medical crews at the scene for minor injuries and did not require hospitalization.

The roadway was expected to reopen fully by 5:15 p.m.
