Doggie door home invader arrested again — for the same thing

A man for the second time this year is accused of breaking into his wife’s Desert Passage home through the doggie door, Maricopa police report.

Gaston K. Gordon, 33, on Friday was arrested on charges of aggravated harassment, criminal trespass and interfering with judicial proceedings, according to a probable cause statement obtained by InMaricopa.

Gordon allegedly entered his wife’s Tamara Lane home “unlawfully through the doggie door,” and tried to steal her car keys when she called the authorities.

Police said they found Gordon at the Circle K on Honeycutt Road and placed him under arrest.

It wasn’t the first time Gordon found himself on all fours, according to police, who noted the wife had a restraining order against him and that he had entered through the dog door on numerous other occasions.

One such occasion came when Gordon found himself on the InMaricopa homepage in April after he allegedly entered the Tamara Lane home through the dog door, grabbed all the phones in the house so the family could not call the police for help and detaining his daughter.

He then was charged with unlawful imprisonment, assault, disorderly conduct, endangerment and preventing the use of a telephone, but failed to show up to his court appearance at Maricopa Municipal Court Sept. 26, according to public records.

Gordon on Friday was booked into the Pinal County jail on his new domestic violence charges, his warrant and another probation violation warrant out of Maricopa County.

Gordan faces more than five years in prison on just the new charges.
