Local veterans, military families and others will have an opportunity to connect with critical resources and veteran-owned businesses next weekend.
The Maricopa Veterans Business and Service Expo is scheduled for Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Central Arizona College’s Maricopa campus. The event is coordinated by Bernie G. Crouse American Legion Post 133 and Tracy P. MacPherson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12043.
Organizations providing services include Blue Star Mothers of Maricopa, Veterans in Need Project, the Mesa Vet Center, Northern Lights Therapy, and representatives from the Arizona Department of Economic Security’s Child Support Services Division and Disabled Veterans Outreach Program.
Several veteran-owned businesses are also expected to participate, ranging from financial advisors and tax services to pest control and painting.
A pair of local barbers will offer free haircuts during the event.
Those interested in attending or seeking more information can visit the event’s Facebook page or contact organizers at [email protected].
