At Little Caesars, inspectors found open employee drink cans stored in a walk-in refrigerator above or near food. The concern is potential contamination if liquids spill. The person in charge moved the drinks into a bin on a bottom shelf during the inspection to separate them from food.
Inspectors also noted missing floor tiles in the dishwashing area. Management was told the flooring must be repaired to prevent water buildup and pest attraction.
At Cilantro’s Mexican Cocina, inspectors did not find documentation of a certified food protection manager on site. A certified manager is required during operation. The restaurant must show proof of certification at the next inspection.
The following establishments were rated excellent and violation-free:
- Baraja’s Market (Stanfield)
- Walmart Deli
- QuikTrip
- QuikTrip Kitchen
- McDonald’s
- Jack in the Box
- Say Sushi
- Plaza Bonita
What the ratings mean
Excellent: All priority standards are observed as compliant. Some nonpriority standards may be critiqued.
Satisfactory: One or more priority standards is out of compliance. All priority standards are corrected at the time of inspection.
Needs improvement: One or more priority standards is out of compliance and at least one violation is not corrected at the time of inspection. Once violations are corrected during a follow-up inspection, a satisfactory rating is issued.
Unacceptable: One or more violations is considered an imminent health hazard. When violations are corrected during a follow-up inspection, the rating becomes satisfactory.
