Looking for taco and margarita specials to commemorate the 1862 Battle of Puebla?
Restaurants around Maricopa are offering a range of food and drink specials for Cinco de Mayo. Here’s where to find them.
Chilaquiles
20800 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite 101
Typically known for its brunch menu, the restaurant will feature a special on street tacos platters — 10 for $19.99 — alongside a special bandera shot that resembles the Mexican flag.
Cold Beers and Cheeseburgers
20350 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite 160
The sports bar is celebrating Cinco de Mayo — and National Burger Month — by featuring their Olé burger for the entire week, a two-patty cooked-to-order burger topped with cheddar, jalapeño cream cheese, bacon jam and grilled onion. They will also have specials on their Hornitos shots, margaritas and palomas.
Duke’s Roadhouse
19395 N. John Wayne Parkway
Celebrate at Duke’s with $3 margaritas and Modelo pints, plus a selection of street tacos also for $3. The night also features a fundraiser for Maricopa Fire with games and raffles.
Mandy’s Wine Bar
41600 W. Smith-Enke Road, Suite 120
You can still order a serving of lasagna Tuesday, but the wine bar will host a special menu featuring chicken, steak, shrimp and veggie tacos. Wash it down with a margarita flight, sangria or Mexican beer during their all-day happy hour.
Nando’s Mexican Café
44460 W. Edison Road
Enjoy an all-day happy hour, $10-11 appetizers, $5 Pacifico, Corona and Modelo.
Plaza Bonita
21141 N. John Wayne Parkway, Suite D
This Maricopa staple won’t have any taco Tuesday specials, but you can still enjoy $2 off any appetizer and drink specials all day while requesting your favorite Chente songs from a live mariachi.
Rili-B’s Taco Shop
19975 N. John Wayne Parkway
If you prefer to take your food to-go to enjoy at home, Rili-B’s will have specials on their birria tacos, family packs and, of course, taco Tuesday specials.
Silver Spur
42660 Rancho El Dorado Parkway
Want to enjoy your Cinco de Mayo with the golf course in perfect view? Stop by Silver Spur Grill after 3 p.m. for $2 chicken and ground beef tacos, and margarita specials starting at $4.
