SR 347 lane restrictions to begin tonight

Take note, nighttime commuters. 

The Arizona Department of Transportation will restrict about 4 miles of State Route 347 near Riggs Road for pavement maintenance beginning tonight.  

Southbound drivers will be reduced to one lane between Riggs Road and the Gila River Bridge, approximately between mileposts 185 and 181. The restrictions will take place from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. tonight and again tomorrow night, ending early Saturday morning.  

ADOT requests motorists to use caution when driving through the area. This includes slowing down and merging safely when approaching and driving through work zones.
