Part of State Route 347 is closed this morning after a camper erupted into flames.
Northbound SR 347 between Casa Blanca and Cement Plant Roads was closed off just before 10:30 a.m. after a vehicle fire, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.
Photos shared on social media showed the camper, being hauled by a black pickup truck, engulfed in flames and billowing tons of black smoke.
Traffic cameras depicted thinner, white smoke at 10:45 a.m. Minutes later, an ADOT spokesperson confirmed the fire, and said it is blocking the right lane of northbound traffic.
Injuries are unknown at this time.
