If you’re covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, you have another local option here in Maricopa.
Exceptional Community Hospital, 19060 N. John Wayne Pkwy., is now offering in-network coverage for BCBSAZ clients, according to a press release. It joins four other Exceptional Healthcare hospitals across the state in expanding coverage, including Bullhead, Eloy, Prescott and Yuma.
This new agreement makes it easier for BCBSAZ patients to receive emergency and in-patient care closer to home. The hospital offers 24/7 emergency services, in-patient care, on-site imaging and lab testing, as well as specialty consultations.
“Our goal has always been to provide exceptional care to every patient who walks through our doors,” said Bruce McVeigh, Chief Operating Officer of Exceptional Healthcare. He added, “We want our communities to know that everyone is welcome here, no matter their insurance.”
Exceptional Community Hospital complies with the 2020 No Surprises Act, which honors in-network benefits for emergency care even if a patient’s plan is out-of-network. This ensures patients are protected from unexpected billing.
