Are you ready for fireworks, fun, and another Great American 4th at Copper Sky?
The Great American 4th, one of Maricopa’s favorite events, returns 7 p.m. Saturday to Copper Sky Regional Park, celebrating Independence Day and the country’s 250th birthday.
In addition to the traditional fireworks, residents can expect a drone show and pool party, as well as live entertainment and food trucks. There will also be a kid’s zone for entertainment with water slides and bouncy houses.
The pool party kicks off at 6 p.m. and the countdown to the fireworks start at 9 p.m..
Admission is free, but tickets for the pool party cost $10 for Copper Sky members and $15 for Maricopa residents who are not members. Parking passes will cost $10.
A free shuttle from city hall to the event will run from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show. Residents are asked to leave personal fireworks, pets except service animals, and pop-up canopies and tents at home.
