A Hidden Valley woman believes a missing relative could be near Maricopa — if not in a neighboring state by now.
Twelve-year-old Isabella Yu went missing from her grandparents’ Mesa home around 10 p.m. Thursday, her aunt Taylor Yu told InMaricopa.
The family is concerned not just because of Isabella’s young age but believe she could be en route to California or Texas.
Taylor Yu added Isabella may have been communicating with several people online and said, “she has been telling people online she is older.”
Isabella has brown hair, brown eyes, weighs 125 pounds and is 5-foot-4. She was last seen near McKellips Road and Horne in Mesa, wearing a purple shirt and a red sweatshirt that says “OCB.”
Anyone with information should contact the Mesa Police Department at 480-644-2211 or the Missing in America Network tip line at 1-844-642-5678.
There are currently 216 missing children in Arizona, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
