Maricopa firefighters extinguished a home under construction that caught fire this afternoon.
Crews with Maricopa Fire and Medical Department responded to the home on North Confetti Court at about 2:30 p.m.
“It appears some debris near the driveway caught fire which spread into the home,” said public safety spokesperson Monica Williams.
“No one was injured as crews quickly contained it,” she said.
Williams noted “there were a few medical calls happening at the same time” so Phoenix regional aid crews responded to assist. Crews with Goodyear Fire Department were seen at the scene.
