UPDATE 4:31 p.m. “MPD is saddened to share that Mr. Kubiszewski was located deceased,” the department announced.
No foul play is suspected.
“Our thoughts are with the individual’s loved ones,” the announcement read. “Moments like these are difficult and can serve as an important reminder that help is available. If you or someone you know is struggling, you are not alone.”
ORIGINAL STORY 12:19 p.m. Maricopa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a 70-year-old man who was reported missing after leaving his home yesterday evening.
Krzysztof Kubiszewski was last seen leaving his residence in Rancho Mirage just before 5 p.m. Tuesday, according to MPD.
Kubiszewski is described as 6-foot-1 and about 215 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Police said he was last seen wearing a light blue puffer jacket and jeans.
He is seen on a doorbell camera leaving his house at 4:45 p.m. A few days earlier, on Saturday around the same time, the camera captured him walking his dog in shorts and a short-sleeve shirt.
