PHOTOS: Thousands walk among the pumpkins at Pacana Park

Maricopa’s annual Pacana Park Pumpkin Walk once again drew an impressive crowd in its seventh year, with organizers estimating attendance “in the few thousands” throughout the night.

The event continues to be one of the city’s most treasured traditions, offering an evening filled with family fun and local pride. Guests enjoyed trick-or-treating at dozens of booths representing businesses around the city. InMaricopa handed out 40 Halloween-sized bags of candy. There were food trucks, a jack-o’-lantern contest, spooky photo ops and live music via Maricopa High School marching band and a DJ.

Organizers expressed gratitude to sponsor Christ Church of the Valley for helping make the event possible once again this year. The church supplied overflow parking after the Leading Edge Academy and Saddleback Elementary School parking lots spilled over.

“This year was a great success,” organizers told InMaricopa today. “Given the turnout, it’s clear this remains a beloved event for our community.”
