Tractor Supply Co. will begin selling agricultural products and pet supplies to Maricopa residents this fall, a spokesperson confirmed Thursday.

In December, the Planning & Zoning Commission approved final plans for the retail store. Those plans featured a 21,702-square-foot retail building and an equally large outdoor display area, which includes a greenhouse and forage shed.
At the time, developers believed the store would spur additional construction.
“(We) feel a Tractor Supply Co. in this location will kick-start additional development in this area,” said Garret Howicz, a development project manager for STNL Development.
Tractor Supply Co. is a Tennessee-based home improvement and ranch retailer with more than 2,100 stores nationwide.
