And then there were three.
Grammy-nominated multi-platinum rapper Twista will perform at Wild West Music Fest next month, making him the third confirmed national act for the festival, Steve Levine Entertainment announced today.
“Twista is an old-school favorite, and we’re excited to have him at Wild West Music Fest,” CEO Steve LeVine said in a statement. “It’s going to be a performance that people won’t forget.”
The Chicago-based rapper, real name Carl Terrell Mitchell, is best known for his 2004 album “Kamikaze,” which earned him two Grammy nominations for Best Rap Collaboration and Best Rap Solo Performance.
Twista will open the festival with a performance April 4, followed immediately by Sean Kingston.
County singer LeAnn Rimes, the youngest solo artist to win a Grammy at just 14 years old, will headline the festival with an evening performance April 5. The event will round out April 6 with local talent, including Phoenix soft rock band Yachtzilla.
