The woman arrested after a toddler Amber Alert search that included a Maricopa sighting Saturday is now facing a felony charge and remains jailed on a $250,000 bond, according to court records.

Marina Noriega, 23, was booked on a felony custody interference charge following her arrest yesterday after authorities recovered 2-year-old Kehlani Rogers safe in Phoenix, according to the Avondale Police Department.

Investigators previously said surveillance footage from a Maricopa business showed Noriega with the child during the search, prompting assistance from the Maricopa Police Department while Avondale detectives led the case.

Police earlier said Rogers was found safe and in good health after the Amber Alert issued late Friday when she was reported missing from her Avondale home near 118th Avenue and Thomas Road. The alert was canceled following her recovery, authorities said.

Avondale PD continues to lead the investigation.
