A crash on Maricopa’s main thoroughfare turned its rush hour commute into a headache this afternoon.
Maricopa police responded to a report of a crash at approximately 3:55 p.m. in the northbound lanes of John Wayne Parkway and Hathaway Avenue. Northbound traffic was backed up to the bridge, while westbound traffic on Honeycutt Road backed up to Plainview Street.
InMaricopa reporters spotted a grey Toyota Tundra with front end damage being towed from the scene as crews worked to clear debris from the road.
