Police arrested four people in Maricopa over a three-day stretch last week in separate cases involving alleged death threats or violent confrontations, including one street gang member who “promised” officers he would kill them once released from jail.
According to Maricopa Police Department reports, the incidents occurred March 24 through March 27 at locations across the city.

Da’shi Marquise Goodloe-McGary, 20, was arrested Tuesday after officers were called to an apartment complex along Honeycutt Avenue for a domestic violence report. A woman told police Goodloe-McGary dragged her by the hair and threatened to hit her with a liquor bottle. During the incident, he allegedly told her, “You’re gonna make me kill you,” and later said, “If you come to my house when I’m not there, I’m going to kill you.” Police say he also threatened to kill officers while being transported to jail.
Teresa Arredondo, 34, was arrested later that night at a home on Saddleback Vista Avenue in the Saddleback Farms neighborhood. Police say she admitted to scratching a man, striking him with a belt and attempting to access a clothes iron and later a firearm during a domestic dispute. Officers reported visible injuries and said the victim intervened before she could access the gun.
Johny R. Garcia, 61, was arrested Friday at a home on Garvey Avenue in the Heritage District after officers contacted him for a mental health pickup order and discovered he had an active warrant. Police say Garcia became irate and made repeated, explicit threats toward officers, including saying he was going to kill them and stating, “I don’t make threats, I make promises.” According to the report, Garcia also referenced his street gang history, claimed he was “the devil in the alley” in Phoenix and threatened to break an officer’s legs, “start blasting motherf***ers” and assault officers upon release. Police noted Garcia is a documented member of the 28th Mini Park gang.
Kyle Alexander Jackson, 36, was arrested the same day after an incident at the Circle K at Honeycutt and Porter Roads. Witnesses told police Jackson threatened to retrieve a gun and shoot multiple people during a verbal altercation. According to the report, he continued escalating the confrontation on scene, yelling and making additional threats in front of others. When officers attempted to take him into custody, Jackson resisted, pulling away and refusing commands before being detained.
Jackson faces multiple counts of threatening or intimidating, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Garcia was booked on a warrant and additional threats against officers. Goodloe-McGary and Arredondo were both arrested on assault charges.
All four cases remain pending in court.

Oh my God, they are sending in the military to Maricopa. I prayed for times like this. Start with the apartments first.
I knew it was going to happen just look at all of the apartments that’s built and continue to be built. Anyone that has a brain should know that trouble is coming when you have that many people and apartments in a small area. Don’t smack them on the had LOCK THEM UP AND THE REST WILL GET THE MESSAGE. MARICOPA SHOULD BE CALL LOS ANGELES. THAT’S JUST WHAT THE POLITICAL SYSTEM HERE HAS DONE. AND IT’S GOING TO GET WORSE. The police Department will be overwhelmed.
Two of the people mentioned in this article don’t live in apartments and comparing this little podunk town to Los Angeles is quite the leap.
The political system here is very very Conservative, so what *exactly* are you trying to say?
And the police chief says we’re ok with the number of officers we have. I say where’s the plain clothes units staking out various areas in unmarked cares proactively squashing crime instead of being a reactionary department.
It was Bidens plan to urbanize all the rural towns in America besides opening the border to the world. How can people still vote democrat?
