Overnight commuters should prepare for restrictions on and around John Wayne Parkway Friday night.
The Arizona Department of Transportation will work on the traffic signal at North John Wayne Parkway and Cobblestone Farms Drive/Lakeview Drive between 8 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Saturday.
The following restrictions will be in place:
- Eastbound North Cobblestone Farms Drive will be closed between Grand View and John Wayne Parkway. The left turn lane on northbound John Wayne Parkway at North Cobblestone Farms Drive will also be closed. Southbound drivers will be able to turn right onto Cobblestone Farms Drive. As a detour, drivers may use South Cobblestone Farms Drive to access SR 347.
- Westbound Lakeview Drive will be closed between Rancho El Dorado Parkway and John Wayne Parkway. The left turn lanes on southbound John Wayne Parkway at Lakeview Drive will also be closed. Northbound drivers will be able to turn right onto Lakeview Drive. As a detour, drivers may use Rancho El Dorado Parkway to Vintage Drive to Smith-Enke Road to access SR 347.
ADOT reminds drivers to slow down and use caution driving through the work zone.
