A crash involving at least two vehicles slowed traffic on Honeycutt Road this afternoon.
The crash occurred around 2:52 p.m. just east of the White and Parker Road intersection. An InMaricopa reporter saw a silver sedan with rear-end damage at the scene.
Eastbound lanes were blocked as police directed traffic onto the dirt shoulder around the crash. Westbound traffic was backed up to Rancho Mirage.
InMaricopa has contacted the Maricopa Police Department for more information.

The Honeycutt Road crash followed another apparent T-bone collision reported before 1 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of White-and-Parker and Smith-Enke Roads, in front of the University of Arizona Maricopa Agricultural Center. In that crash, airbags had deployed, and InMaricopa reporters observed an ambulance, a firetruck and multiple police units responding to the quiet, two-way, L-shaped intersection.
InMaricopa contacted MPD for information about that crash, including whether any injuries were reported, but never received a response.
This is a breaking story. Check back for updates.
