UPDATE 12:32 p.m. March 28, 2025
Arizona Department of Public Safety released new details of the investigation. The accident happened at approximately 11:21 AM when a pickup truck jackknifed, causing the trailer to roll on its side. There were no injuries, according to an AZDPS spokesman.
The wreck happened at State Route 347 at milepost 162.
The right lane is open.
ORIGINAL STORY 12:13 p.m. March 28, 2025 A tipped over trailer has shut down northbound lanes of State Route 347 near State Route 84.
The trailer was being hauled by a white Chevy pickup truck when it tipped over at Clayton Road between Hidden Valley and Stanfield, leaving the truck’s rear wheels airborne.
Two state trooper units are on scene. A firetruck and ambulance left the scene as reporters arrived at 11:50 a.m.
A witness said the driver and at least two dogs are out of the truck and walking around.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety is investigating. We will update this story when we have more information.
